French Valley is In the beautiful hillsides and rolling terrain just 10 miles outside of Temecula is French Valley. This region is away from the hustle and bustle of the Temecula city and allows residents to enjoy the open spaces and beauty of the land. The Valley has an interesting and colorful past dating back to the 1860’s as a fertile farmland for grain and cattle. Interestingly, French speaking settlers came to the Valley, and the residents from nearby Temecula and Murrieta started calling the area French Valley as a term of affection for the people who lived there. Even today , many of the original founders families still reside in the Valley. From an area that started in the late 1800’s with a one-room school house to the sprawling neighborhoods that exist today, French Valley is a special place to live.
Primarily considered a newer area where home building began to explode in 2003, homes are generally reasonably priced and feature a good deal of square footage along with spacious lot sizes. Several home builders are actively selling new homes in French Valley.
